A friend of mine made me aware of Michael Winger and his extraordinary collection of charts. I work
the jazz circuit but also perform a regular gig at The Dover Street Wine Bar (a prestigious London
night spot) with a nine piece soul band. Due to the high cost of charts most of the jazz horn players
I work with used to busk the set, the soul band I work with had charts however the set had become
stale. I ordered Michael’s complete collection and the charts are superb. I am not in the habit of
writing references and Michael has not asked me to write this one however I am so impressed and
pleased with my purchase I felt obliged to send him this thank-you.

During a cross country move I lost both my Big Band and Octet libraries. Most of the material was
original and I had no copies. I decided that if I planned on fronting any bands on the West Coast, I
would need charts. I came across Mike's ad on the Internet and contacted him. I purchased his complete
list which at that time was about 500 charts with his promise to send me anything that he acquired over
the next 12 months. The original charts were worth the price. However, in less than a year Mike has sent
me over 2000 additional charts. I have upgraded to his lifetime subscription. I only wish I had the opportunity to read everything he's sent me. It is truly the 'best deal' I've ever come across.

My name is Bill and I'd like to tell you folks of my experience with Mike Winger regarding his charts.
I've been on his lifetime chart list for better than a year now. Even though I've never met him personally,
I have spoken to him a few times, and E-mailed many many times with questions regarding a chart, or

I want to thank you for the tremendous selection of charts that came in the package. They far exceed
my expectations in breadth depth quantity and quality! Each folder is a treasure trove. It is really a lifetime of music for me to explore. More importantly, I am going to be using these to redo music we
have been doing for years- and have the horns rise to parity with the guitars. The charts really make
the section sound great, and all in the group are now on board for more. In other areas I plan to use
the octet charts and the other Jazz chartsin various smaller combinations of the faculty band. I could
not be happier with them.Now that I can adapt for different instruments and keys using the software
- it will make a vast difference in how we can work out tunes. I hope to be able to bring the
computer and change parts and keys right there during practice.
